Body Contouring in McKinney, TX from Hartwater Aesthetics

What Is Non-Surgical Body Contouring?

Non-surgical body contouring is a category of aesthetic treatments that reduce stubborn fat and reshape the body without surgery, anesthesia, scars, or significant downtime. Non-surgical body contouring treatments use various energy-based mechanisms (radiofrequency, ultrasound, cryolipolysis, electrical muscle stimulation) to target and destroy fat cells beneath the skin, and the body naturally clears the destroyed fat over the weeks following each treatment. The result is a measurable reduction in fat volume in the treated area with the body's natural shape preserved.

Non-surgical body contouring is the right category for patients who have stubborn pockets of fat that do not respond to diet and exercise alone but who do not need (or want) surgical liposuction. Surgical liposuction can remove larger volumes of fat in a single procedure but requires anesthesia, scars, and one to two weeks of meaningful recovery. At-home alternatives (waist trainers, fat-burning supplements, topical creams) lack the clinical mechanism required to actually reduce fat volume. Non-surgical body contouring sits between these two extremes: clinically effective, no surgery, no anesthesia, no downtime.

HOW EVOLVEX WORKS: HARTWATER'S INTEGRATED BODY CONTOURING PLATFORM

EvolveX is a hands-free, total-body treatment platform from InMode designed specifically for non-surgical body contouring. The platform delivers two distinct energy mechanisms (bipolar radiofrequency and electrical muscle stimulation) through dedicated applicators that are placed directly on the treatment area. The applicators are hands-free, which means a single treatment session can cover larger surface areas than handheld devices can manage, and the patient remains comfortable for the duration of the session.

The bipolar radiofrequency (RF) component delivers controlled thermal energy deep into the adipose tissue beneath the skin. The RF mechanism produces two simultaneous outcomes: targeted destruction of fat cells (which the body clears over the weeks following treatment) and stimulation of new collagen and elastin in the dermis (which tightens the skin around the reduced fat volume). The electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) component delivers controlled electrical signals to the muscles in the treated area, inducing involuntary muscle contractions that are stronger than voluntary exercise can produce and that build lean muscle mass in the treated area.

The EvolveX platform uses real-time temperature monitoring to deliver consistent energy to the treated tissue without overheating or underdelivering. AI-guided treatment software adjusts the energy delivery based on the body's response, ensuring the treatment is both safe and effective for each individual patient. A Patient Call Button allows you to pause the treatment at any time for comfort adjustments. The combination of hands-free delivery, real-time temperature monitoring, and AI-guided control is what makes EvolveX a more sophisticated platform than the first-generation non-invasive body contouring systems it replaces.

The central innovation of EvolveX is the integration of three distinct outcomes (fat reduction, skin tightening, and muscle toning) into a single platform. Most non-invasive body contouring systems address only one of these outcomes. EvolveX addresses all three in the same platform, which produces a more complete body transformation than any single-function alternative can deliver. The next section walks through each of the three functions in detail.

EVOLVEX'S THREE INTEGRATED FUNCTIONS

The EvolveX platform delivers three distinct outcomes from the same treatment session. Most non-invasive body contouring treatments address only one of these outcomes, which produces an incomplete body transformation. The integration of all three is what distinguishes EvolveX from single-function alternatives.

Fat Reduction

The bipolar radiofrequency mechanism delivers controlled thermal energy into the adipose (fat) tissue beneath the skin, heating fat cells to a temperature that triggers apoptosis (controlled cell death). Over the weeks following each treatment session, the body naturally clears the destroyed fat cells through normal metabolic processes, and the treated area shows a measurable reduction in fat volume. The RF mechanism targets fat cells specifically without damaging the surrounding skin, vasculature, or muscle tissue. Fat reduction is the function most patients are looking for when they search for body contouring, and EvolveX delivers it through a well-established RF mechanism that does not rely on the freezing-based approach that defines CoolSculpting and similar cryolipolysis platforms.

Skin Tightening

The same radiofrequency energy that destroys fat also delivers controlled thermal energy to the dermis, stimulating new collagen and elastin production in the skin's structural network. This is the function that distinguishes EvolveX from single-function fat reduction systems. As fat volume decreases in the treated area, the skin's collagen network is simultaneously rebuilt, allowing the skin to contract in proportion to the reduced fat volume. The skin tightening function prevents the loose-skin outcome that single-function fat reduction treatments often produce, particularly in patients over age 35 or patients undergoing more dramatic fat reduction. This is the central clinical reason most patients should choose EvolveX over a single-function alternative: addressing fat volume without addressing skin quality produces an incomplete result, and EvolveX is designed to address both simultaneously.

Muscle Toning

The EvolveX platform also includes a muscle toning function via electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) applied through dedicated applicators. The EMS induces controlled involuntary muscle contractions that are stronger than voluntary exercise can produce, building lean muscle mass in the treated area. For patients whose primary goal is muscle definition rather than fat reduction (athletes, post-pregnancy abdominal recovery, aesthetic-defined patients), the muscle toning function is best discussed on the dedicated Muscle Toning page. For body contouring patients, the muscle toning component complements the fat reduction and skin tightening to produce a fully toned, sculpted result that single-function platforms cannot match.

WHY INTEGRATED BODY CONTOURING MATTERS: THE SKIN LAXITY PROBLEM

The first generation of non-invasive body contouring treatments, including CoolSculpting and similar single-function systems, addressed only one outcome: fat destruction. CoolSculpting uses cryolipolysis, a controlled-cooling mechanism that freezes fat cells beneath the skin. truSculpt, SculpSure, Vanquish, and similar platforms use radiofrequency or ultrasound to heat and destroy fat cells. All of these first-generation platforms share a structural limitation: they address fat volume without addressing the skin's ability to contract around the reduced volume.

When fat volume decreases without simultaneous collagen stimulation, the skin does not contract in proportion. The result is loose, sagging skin in the treated area, which can leave a patient with reduced fat volume but an aesthetically worse appearance than they started with. This outcome is particularly common in patients with mild-to-moderate skin laxity at baseline, patients over age 35, and patients undergoing dramatic fat reduction. The clinical literature on this point is well-established: addressing fat volume without addressing skin quality produces an incomplete body contouring result.

CoolSculpting has also accumulated meaningful safety concerns in recent years. Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia, a rare but documented complication in which the treated area develops more fat rather than less, has been the subject of high-profile lawsuits and patient advocacy. The cryolipolysis mechanism carries documented risks of bruising, numbness lasting weeks, and the rare paradoxical response. These are not reasons to dismiss the body contouring category as a whole, but they are reasons patients deserve to understand what their alternatives look like before committing to a treatment plan.

EvolveX addresses both problems by design. The bipolar RF mechanism produces fat destruction AND simultaneous collagen stimulation in the treated tissue, so as fat volume decreases the skin's structural network is rebuilt to contract around the reduced volume. The RF energy is delivered without the freezing-based mechanism that produces CoolSculpting's documented complications. The result is a more complete body contouring outcome with a stronger safety profile and zero downtime. For patients comparing options, the practical answer is that EvolveX represents the next generation of non-invasive body contouring technology, and the integrated three-function approach is what makes the difference.

EVOLVEX + GLP-1: HARTWATER'S COMBINATION PROTOCOL FOR BODY TRANSFORMATION

For Hartwater Aesthetics patients who are also patients of Hartwater Wellness, we often recommend combining EvolveX body contouring with the GLP-1 Therapy program at Hartwater Wellness for a powerful combined body transformation protocol. This is one of the most clinically rationalized combination protocols Hartwater offers, and it is unique to the practice. Almost no other med spa in the McKinney market has the parallel wellness arm needed to deliver this combination.

GLP-1 weight loss therapy (semaglutide, tirzepatide, and similar compounds) produces meaningful, often dramatic weight loss for patients struggling with stubborn weight. The clinical data on GLP-1 efficacy is exceptional, and the medication has rapidly become a foundational tool in modern weight management. But the same rapid weight loss that makes GLP-1 medication effective also produces two well-documented unwanted side effects that compromise the aesthetic outcome of the weight loss journey, and most GLP-1 patients are not warned about either of them before starting the program.

The first unwanted side effect is skin laxity. As fat volume decreases rapidly, the skin does not have time to contract in proportion. Patients who lose 30, 40, or 50 pounds on GLP-1 therapy frequently develop loose, sagging skin in the abdomen, arms, thighs, and other areas where the fat loss is most pronounced. Without intervention, this skin laxity can leave a patient feeling that the weight loss left them looking older or less toned rather than slimmer and more defined. The second unwanted side effect is loss of lean muscle mass. GLP-1 weight loss is not selective: the body loses both fat and lean muscle in the catabolic process. Estimates from clinical research suggest that 25 to 40 percent of GLP-1 weight loss can be lean muscle mass in some patients, which contributes to the "skinny but soft" outcome that many GLP-1 patients describe and that no patient is hoping for.

The EvolveX platform's three-function design directly addresses both unwanted side effects while accelerating the desired outcome. The fat reduction function provides targeted destruction of stubborn fat in areas where the GLP-1 patient wants additional definition, accelerating the visible results during the early weight loss journey. The skin tightening function stimulates collagen and elastin in the treated area, preventing or treating the skin laxity that develops as the GLP-1 weight loss progresses. The muscle toning function uses EMS to rebuild lean muscle mass in the treated area, directly counteracting the muscle loss that comes with the catabolic process. No other non-invasive body contouring platform addresses all three of these GLP-1 side effects simultaneously, because no other platform is designed for all three outcomes in a single integrated system.

The result is a body transformation that is more complete than GLP-1 weight loss alone produces. Patients leave the combination protocol with reduced fat volume in stubborn areas, tightened skin around the reduced volume, and rebuilt lean muscle mass in the treated regions. The combination is designed to deliver the body composition outcome that GLP-1 patients actually want: leaner, more defined, and structurally sound rather than skinny-but-soft. Hartwater can coordinate the EvolveX treatment plan and the GLP-1 program together for patients enrolled in both. Learn more about the Hartwater Wellness GLP-1 Therapy program.

COMMON BODY CONTOURING TREATMENT AREAS

The EvolveX hands-free applicator design enables treatment of virtually any body area where the applicators can be applied. Below are the most common treatment areas at Hartwater, along with typical patient profile and session expectations for each.

Abdomen

The most common EvolveX treatment area at Hartwater. EvolveX addresses upper abdomen, lower abdomen, and full abdominal coverage with applicator placement that accommodates the natural curvature of the area. Patient profile: post-pregnancy abdominal fat and laxity, stubborn lower belly fat that does not respond to diet and exercise, and abdominal definition for patients who want a more sculpted look. Typical protocol: a series of six sessions for the target area produces the most complete result.

Flanks

The "love handle" or "muffin top" area along the lower sides of the torso. EvolveX is particularly effective here because flank fat is often resistant to diet and exercise alone, and the integrated skin tightening function ensures the result does not produce a loose-skin outcome. Patient profile: stubborn flank fat in patients of any age, often paired with abdomen treatment for a fully sculpted core. Typical protocol: six sessions.

Arms (upper)

EvolveX treats the upper arms, including the underside ("bat wing" area) where laxity is most common. The integrated skin tightening function is particularly valuable in the arms because arm laxity is one of the most common patient complaints after weight loss or with normal aging. Patient profile: patients with mild-to-moderate upper arm fat or laxity. Typical protocol: six sessions, often combined with the bra-roll area.

Back and Bra Roll

The upper back area, including the bra-strap fat that bulges over and under the band. EvolveX addresses this area through hands-free applicator placement along the back. Patient profile: patients who want to eliminate bra-strap fat, often paired with arm treatment for a complete upper-body contouring plan. Typical protocol: six sessions.

Thighs (anterior, medial, and saddle bag areas)

EvolveX treats the front of the thighs (anterior), inner thighs (medial), and the lateral upper thigh area sometimes called "saddle bags." Each of these is a distinct treatment area with its own protocol. Patient profile: patients with stubborn thigh fat or laxity, often paired with abdomen and flank treatment for a complete lower-body contouring plan. Typical protocol: six sessions per area.

Buttocks

EvolveX treats the buttocks for shaping, lifting, and toning. The muscle toning function is particularly relevant here because the gluteal muscles respond strongly to EMS, producing both shape improvement and tone. Patient profile: patients who want non-surgical buttock shaping, often as part of an integrated lower-body contouring plan. For patients whose primary goal is buttock volume restoration rather than shaping, the Non-Surgical BBL using Sculptra may be the more appropriate treatment. Lindsey will recommend the right approach at consultation.

Custom area combinations and total-body treatment plans are available at consultation. Stephanie or Tiffany will recommend the appropriate areas and session counts based on your specific concerns and goals.

EVOLVEX VS BODYTITE VS MORPHEUS8 BODY: CHOOSING THE RIGHT TREATMENT

Hartwater offers three body sculpting platforms that overlap on some indications but address different patient profiles. The decision between them is one of the most common consultations in the body category. The right tool depends on the patient's primary concern, downtime tolerance, and how dramatic a result they are looking for.

EvolveX is the right tool when the primary goal is non-surgical, no-downtime body contouring with integrated fat reduction and skin tightening. EvolveX is the entry-level platform: most patients with mild-to-moderate stubborn fat and mild-to-moderate skin laxity are well-served by EvolveX. The treatment is performed over a series of sessions (typically six per area) and produces gradual cumulative improvement. There is no anesthesia, no surgery, and no downtime. EvolveX is the first-line recommendation for non-invasive body contouring at Hartwater.

BodyTite is the right tool when the primary goal is more dramatic single-procedure body contouring with greater skin tightening than non-invasive treatments can produce. BodyTite is minimally invasive: it uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) delivered via a small cannula beneath the skin, combined with traditional liposuction. Local anesthesia is required, downtime is one to two weeks, and the result is more comparable to surgical liposuction with the added benefit of greater than 40 percent skin contraction (versus 8 to 10 percent with liposuction alone). BodyTite is performed by Dr. Scott Bradley Burris, MD, our full-time on-site Medical Director. BodyTite is the appropriate recommendation for patients who want more dramatic results in a single procedure.

Morpheus8 Body is the right tool when the primary goal is skin laxity treatment with secondary fat remodeling. Morpheus8 Body uses radiofrequency microneedling delivered into the deeper tissue including the subcutaneous fat layer. The treatment produces meaningful skin tightening and modest fat remodeling, but the primary outcome is laxity treatment rather than fat reduction. Patients whose primary concern is loose skin (often post-pregnancy or post-weight-loss patients, including post-GLP-1 patients with significant skin laxity) are typically routed toward Morpheus8 Body rather than EvolveX.

Many patients benefit from a sequenced plan that uses multiple platforms at different points in their treatment journey. EvolveX for the non-invasive maintenance and gradual contouring work, BodyTite for the single-procedure dramatic results, Morpheus8 Body for the laxity component when needed. At consultation, Lindsey will design the appropriate sequence for your specific concerns, anatomy, and goals. The right tool for the right problem.

WHICH PILLAR OF AGING DOES BODY CONTOURING ADDRESS?

EvolveX body contouring at Hartwater addresses two of the Three Pillars of Facial Aging when those principles are applied to the body. The fat reduction function manages unwanted volume in the treated area, which is the body equivalent of Pillar Three volume management. The skin tightening function addresses laxity in the treated area through collagen and elastin stimulation, which is Pillar Two Skin Laxity work. The muscle toning function rebuilds structural tone in the treated area, which contributes to the same Pillar Two outcome through a different mechanism.

The advantage of approaching body contouring through the Three Pillars framework is that the recommendation reflects what your body actually needs as part of a complete treatment strategy, rather than as an isolated standalone purchase. Many Hartwater patients have EvolveX sequenced into a broader plan Lindsey designs at consultation, alongside Morpheus8 Body for deeper laxity work, BodyTite for more dramatic single-procedure results, or Hartwater Wellness GLP-1 Therapy for the integrated weight management protocol.

WHY HARTWATER FOR BODY CONTOURING IN MCKINNEY

Five credentials distinguish body contouring at Hartwater Aesthetics from any other body contouring provider in McKinney or the surrounding north Texas market.

Performed by Stephanie Robertson, CLT and Tiffany Byres, LMA, CLT

EvolveX at Hartwater is performed by our two Certified Laser Technicians, Stephanie Robertson, CLT and Tiffany Byres, LMA, CLT. Each has personally performed thousands of energy-based and non-invasive aesthetic procedures, which is among the deepest treatment-team experience bases in the McKinney body contouring market. Both Stephanie and Tiffany also teach energy-based and non-invasive protocols to providers from other practices through Hartwater's affiliated provider-training organization, the CARE Institute. Patients who choose Hartwater for body contouring are receiving treatment from providers who help train other providers nationally.

The Integrated Three-Function EvolveX Platform

Most non-invasive body contouring providers offer single-function platforms: CoolSculpting addresses fat alone, Emsculpt addresses muscle alone, truSculpt and SculpSure address fat alone. Hartwater offers EvolveX, the integrated three-function platform that addresses fat reduction, skin tightening, and muscle toning in a single system. This integration is what produces the more complete body contouring outcome that single-function platforms cannot match. For patients who want results that reflect a fully sculpted body rather than just reduced fat volume, the integrated platform is the central reason to choose Hartwater.

Three InMode Facility Designations

Hartwater holds three formal facility designations from InMode, the device manufacturer: InMode Advanced Remodeling and Tightening Center, InMode Facial Expert Center, and InMode Body Expert Center. These designations are earned credentials, not marketing claims, and they reflect Hartwater's demonstrated expertise across the InMode device platform. Combined with three consecutive Top Provider in the Nation designations for Morpheus8 (2023, 2024, 2025), Hartwater holds six formal credentials from InMode that no McKinney competitor can match.

Hartwater Wellness GLP-1 Combination Capability

For patients pursuing weight loss through GLP-1 therapy, the EvolveX + GLP-1 combination protocol is one of the most clinically rationalized combinations in aesthetic medicine. GLP-1 weight loss produces two well-documented side effects (skin laxity and lean muscle mass loss), and EvolveX's skin tightening and muscle toning functions directly counteract both while the fat reduction function accelerates the desired outcome. This combination is unique to Hartwater because Hartwater is the only McKinney-area aesthetics practice with a parallel wellness arm capable of delivering it.

Physician-Directed Care with On-Site Medical Director

Every body contouring treatment plan at Hartwater is reviewed and approved by our full-time on-site Medical Director, Scott Bradley Burris, MD. Initial consultations are conducted by Lindsey Burris, RN, Hartwater's Clinical Manager. Patients receive medical-grade care delivered by certified providers under physician oversight, not just an aesthetic treatment. This level of clinical infrastructure is not available at most CoolSculpting providers or non-invasive body contouring practices in the McKinney market.

WHAT TO EXPECT: YOUR BODY CONTOURING TREATMENT EXPERIENCE

The EvolveX treatment experience is consistent, comfortable, and designed for the patient's daily schedule. Below is what to expect from the initial consultation through the post-treatment recovery window.

Your treatment journey begins with an initial consultation with our Clinical Manager, Lindsey Burris, RN. Lindsey assesses your specific concerns, evaluates the treatment areas you want to address, and designs the appropriate treatment plan based on your goals and your timeline. The plan typically includes the recommended number of sessions per area, the optimal sequencing if multiple areas are being treated, and any combination protocols (such as the EvolveX + GLP-1 combination) that may be appropriate for your specific situation.

EvolveX treatment sessions are performed by Stephanie Robertson, CLT or Tiffany Byres, LMA, CLT. The hands-free applicators are placed directly on the treatment area, secured in position, and the treatment begins. The RF energy produces a warming sensation as it heats the deeper tissue, and the EMS component (when used) produces controlled involuntary muscle contractions in the treated area. The platform's real-time temperature monitoring ensures the energy delivery stays within the safe and effective range throughout the session. A Patient Call Button allows you to pause the treatment at any time for comfort adjustments. Each session runs approximately 30 to 45 minutes per treatment area.

Immediately after the treatment, you can expect mild warmth and possible mild redness in the treated area, both of which resolve within a few hours. There is no downtime. You can return to normal activities (including work, exercise, and social plans) immediately. No anesthesia is used, no scars are produced, and no recovery period is required. Many patients schedule EvolveX sessions during their lunch break.

Most patients book a series of six sessions for a target treatment area, spaced approximately one week apart. Some patients with more aggressive goals or larger treatment areas may benefit from a longer series. The visible results develop gradually over the six to twelve weeks following the final session, as the body clears the destroyed fat cells through normal metabolic processes and new collagen continues to form in the treated tissue. Most patients see meaningful improvement within four to six weeks of the final session, with the full result visible by twelve weeks. Annual maintenance sessions are typically recommended to preserve the result over time. Stephanie and Tiffany will recommend the appropriate series and maintenance cadence based on your specific situation and goals.

HOW MUCH DOES BODY CONTOURING COST IN MCKINNEY, TX?

Hartwater Aesthetics publishes transparent pricing on EvolveX body contouring. EvolveX is sold exclusively in packages of six sessions per treatment area, because the visible results of body contouring develop through cumulative collagen stimulation, fat clearance, and muscle remodeling across the full series. Single sessions are not sold at Hartwater, because a single session does not produce the meaningful clinical outcome that patients are looking for. Pricing varies by treatment area based on size, complexity, and the number of applicators required.

A few notes on pricing. First, all EvolveX treatments are performed by our Certified Laser Technicians, with consultation and treatment planning conducted by Lindsey Burris, RN. Second, the six-session protocol is the structure that produces the meaningful body contouring result, which is why Hartwater does not sell single sessions or shorter packages. Third, custom pricing for additional body areas not listed in the table, and for combination plans (such as the EvolveX + GLP-1 protocol via Hartwater Wellness, or EvolveX combined with Morpheus8 Body or BodyTite), is available at consultation.
