About Lindsey
Lindsey Burris, RN is one of the country's most-respected master aesthetic injectors. With more than 15 years of experience in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine, KOL speaker status across the InMode platform, and her background as Director of Nursing for a leading plastic surgery practice, she brings the kind of surgical-grade anatomical command, clinical depth, and educator-level expertise that defines master-level injection work. She is also the architect of the Three Pillars of Facial Aging framework, which she teaches to other aesthetic providers across the country.
Lindsey's unique background primed her for success in the aesthetic industry early in life. At the age of 14 she began working as a high-fashion print and runway model, studying facial dimensions, expression, and symmetry on shoots around the world. After completing her nursing education, she worked as a pre-operative and post-anesthesia care nurse at Baylor Surgicare in Carrollton, building the foundation of clinical and surgical patient care that defines her practice today.

Lindsey then moved to Arizona to learn plastic surgery from the inside, working first as a Surgical Nurse for North Valley Plastic Surgery in Scottsdale, where she assisted on hundreds of surgical procedures. The hands-on surgical exposure gave her an extraordinary command of facial anatomy and body aesthetics, and a clinical standard of patient care that most aesthetic providers never see. She went on to become Director of Nursing for Scottsdale Plastic Surgeons, overseeing a nursing team and maintaining clinical quality for one of the region's top plastic surgery practices.
During her years in Arizona, Lindsey also founded and led one of the largest stem cell research centers in the country, directing a body of clinical research in regenerative therapies for debilitated and terminally ill patients. Her leadership at the institute facilitated peer-reviewed research that continues to inform medical treatments today.
After returning to Dallas, Lindsey adapted her practice to a boutique model focused on non-surgical aesthetic solutions, where she could deliver a more personalized standard of care to a select group of patients. She grew a loyal following of aesthetic patients across DFW and beyond, and ultimately founded Hartwater Aesthetics with the intention of bringing the quality of surgical care she had learned in plastics to the non-surgical aesthetic space.
At Hartwater, Lindsey now cares for patients from across north Texas and around the world, who travel to her practice for her unparalleled expertise, patient-focused care, and extraordinary passion for what she does. She is also one of the few aesthetic providers in the country who teaches other practitioners as a regular part of her work, traveling nationally as a KOL speaker and masterclass instructor.

THE THREE PILLARS OF FACIAL AGING FRAMEWORK
Lindsey is the architect of the Three Pillars of Facial Aging framework, which guides Hartwater Aesthetics' approach to natural, long-term anti-aging care. The framework identifies the three independent mechanisms that drive facial aging (skin quality, skin laxity, and volume loss) and provides a structured way to match the right treatment to the right problem. Most aesthetic providers only treat one or two of the three pillars, which is why so many patients end up with the overfilled or unfinished look that nobody actually wants. Lindsey developed the framework over years of clinical practice and now teaches it nationally to other providers as a foundational model for natural-results aesthetic care.

PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
Lindsey believes that physical individuality is something to be prized and enhanced, not diluted with cookie-cutter features. She has worked with a vast array of ethnicities, cultures, expressions of beauty, and gender identities, and she approaches every patient consultation as a study of that specific person's anatomy, goals, and lifestyle. The right treatment plan, in her view, is the one that makes you look more like the best version of yourself rather than less like yourself.​

Hartwater is unapologetically a practice with clinical integrity. We will say no to a treatment when it is not justified. We will not overfill. We will recommend a slower or more conservative approach when that is the right answer. Patients who arrive looking for the dramatic "duck lips" or "pillow face" look are usually not the right fit for Hartwater, and that is intentional. The patients we serve best are the ones who want results that look like a better, more rested, and more confident version of who they already are.
